A museum dedicated to building Leonardo da Vinci's inventions, based off of his notes and sketches. Some. Of them were interactive, so you could understand how they worked. Some were very simple, some were complex, such as attempts at tank and submarine designs, and some were just suprising, such as a man and women's wedding attire.

An exhibit celebrating violin making in Venice, some of the instruments date back from the 1500's.




Gallerie Dell'Accademia, containing the most important paintings of Venice from its origins up to the 18th century.


Ceiling detail, the central small round shapes are angels's faces, and each one is unique.

Day 2!
Spencer, a fellow traveller from the hostel, and I got off at the wrong stop and we had an hour before we could get back to Venice. After coffee, we went on a walk around the city, called Treviso.
