Bucaramanga - Chicamocha Canyon

The next day we drove out to Mesa de Los Santos to the Parque Nacional de Chicamocha. The park is located along the rim of the breathtaking Chicamocha canyon. Aside from sightseeing, you can go paragliding, spelunking, bushwalking, camping, fishing, kayaking, rafting, mountain climbing there. For some reason, there is also an ostrich farm!
The park has a cable car system, 6.3 km in length, one of the longest in the world. We rode the cable car from the "Mesa de los Santos" station on the rim down to the the Chicamocha River, and then back up to the Panichi station across the canyon.
